How to Invest with MARAC
Step 1 - Choose the MARAC product, term and rate and complete the application form
To invest with MARAC simply choose the MARAC investment product, term and rate that best suits your needs and then complete the relevant application form available below. If you'd like to talk with our investment team about which investment might be best for you, please call us on 0800 26 27 22.
Step 2 - Pay your investment amount
Once you've completed the application form, choose how you'd like to pay your investment amount.
Cheque
For MARAC's Term Deposit, Deferred Interest Term Deposit, At Call Deposit Account, Business Call Deposit Account or Rapid Saver please make your cheque payable to 'MARAC Finance Limited'.
For MARAC's Tax-Paid Retirement Bonds please make your cheque payable to 'New Zealand Guardian Trust - MARAC Retirement Bonds Account'.
Direct Credit
You can pay your investment amount directly into MARAC's bank account. Please make sure you include your surname as a reference and fax your application to us on 09-539 9796 the day you make the payment. Please also post your original application form to us.
Direct Debit (not available for MARAC Tax-Paid Bonds)
If you would like the funds debited directly from your bank account, please complete the direct debit authority form or
Rapid Saver direct debit authority form and post it together with your application form.
Through your financial advisor
You can give your application form and investment payment to your financial advisor who will forward it onto us.
Step 3 - Post your investment
Please send your application form, and cheque or direct debit form (if applicable) to MARAC Finance Limited, Freepost 4040, PO Box 9919, Newmarket, Auckland 1149.
What happens next
When we’ve processed your application we’ll send you a MARAC investment certificate or a letter of acknowledgement showing details of your MARAC investment.
