How to Invest in MARAC Deposits

Step 1 - Choose the product, term and rate and complete the relevant application form

To invest in a MARAC Deposit simply choose the investment product, term and rate that best suits your needs and then complete the relevant application form available below. If you'd like to talk with our investment team about which investment might be best for you, please call us on 0800 26 27 22.

Step 2 - Pay your investment amount

Once you've completed the application form, choose how you'd like to pay your investment amount.

Cheque

For MARAC Term Deposit, MARAC Deferred Interest Term Deposit, MARAC Call Deposit, MARAC Business Call Deposit or MARAC Rapid Saver please make your cheque payable to 'Heartland Building Society'.

Direct Credit

You can pay your investment amount directly into our bank account. Please make sure you include your surname as a reference and either fax your application to us on 09 927 9321 or email it to invest@marac.co.nz the day you make the payment. Please also post your original application form to us.

Direct Debit

If you would like the funds debited directly from your bank account, please complete the Direct Debit Authority Form or the Rapid Saver Direct Debit Authority Form and post it together with your application form.

Through your financial advisor

You can give your application form and investment payment to your financial advisor who will forward it onto us.

Step 3 - Post your investment

Please send your application form, and cheque or direct debit form (if applicable) to MARAC, Freepost 4040, PO Box 9919, Newmarket, Auckland 1149.

What happens next

When we’ve processed your application we’ll send you a MARAC Deposit Certificate or a letter of acknowledgement showing details of your investment.
