MARAC is now part of Heartland Building Society. Heartland Building Society was formed as a result of the merger between MARAC, CBS Canterbury and Southern Cross Building Society. Finance and lending services are still provided by MARAC Finance Limited, which is now a subsidiary of Heartland Building Society. All deposits are now issued by Heartland Building Society. However, investors will still see the 'MARAC' brand when they invest because Heartland Building Society offers MARAC branded Deposits.
